Destiny Group bought the title sponsors of BPL T20 for Tk. 75 millions. The tournament will now be known as Destiny-Boishakhi BPL T20 instead of “Bangladesh Premier League – BPL T20″. On Saturday, 28 January, 2012, An agreement signing ceremony between Game On Sport Management(the event management company of the tournament) and Destiny Group was held at the Westin Dhaka yesterday.

Game On Sport director Anjan Ganguly and Md Rafiqul Amin, the chairman of Destiny Group, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

The BPL will commence on February 9 with an opening ceremony and the first matches will be played the 10 February 2012.
